A ghostly galaxy spins about 100 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Indus, as seen in this Hubble Space Telescope picture released on April 7. The galaxy NGC 7049 appears to be on the border between spiral and elliptical galaxies, with a diffuse halo of stars broken up by swirling rings of dust.
