For the fifth year in a row, I returned to Glendo Reservoir, Wyoming,
to camp, kayak, and (with park superintendent permission) do a little
rockhounding on the remote north shore of the north bay.
Usually I go in June before the water level drops (quickly) to the point
of turning the north bay back into a river! This year the lake was
way up for a long time, drowning most of the campgrounds including
my usual, Elk Horn. So less than a week after returning from Lake Powell,
I "caught" the lake just in time, as it was dropping 9" per day.
